7. Data Deletion Instructions

You can request deletion of your account and all associated data using either of the following methods:

Method 1 — Delete via Dashboard

  1. 1. Log in to your account at smartqrhub.com/login
  2. 2. Go to Account Settings
  3. 3. Scroll to the Danger Zone section
  4. 4. Click Delete My Account
  5. 5. Confirm the deletion when prompted

Method 2 — Request via Email

Send an email to contact@smartqrhub.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request". Include the email address associated with your account. We will process your request and confirm deletion within 7 business days.

What Gets Deleted

  • • Your account profile (name, email, password)
  • • All QR codes you created
  • • QR scan analytics linked to your account
  • • Session and login data

Exceptions

Some data may be retained if required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g. fraud prevention records). Any retained data will be minimised and securely stored.

Processing Time

Account deletions are processed immediately when using the dashboard method. For email requests, allow up to 7 business days. Full removal from backups may take up to 30 days.

8. Children's Privacy

SmartQR Hub is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
